In 1992, John and Elsie Askew started selling anything from a kettle to a car. This was in the old Drill Hall in South Street in Alford. We soon built up a reputation for good honest trading. Everything was carried out carefully and efficiently.

In 1994 we were lucky to be able to purchase the newly converted former methodist church on West street.  We introduced new furniture and gradually the Askew's Furniture Centre was born.

More recently we have added mobility products to our range and the business goes from strength to strength, still working to the same principles of honesty, reliability and value for money.

Askew's Carpet Warehouse, Mablethorpe (the latest addition) was opened 3 years ago with Thomas Askew (son) running this branch single handed, keeping prices low and service standards high.
