At Askews Furniture, we offer fantastic savings on a wide range of quality furniture, including brand-new overstock, made-to-order upholstery, cancelled orders, discontinued ranges, ex-display models and customer returns.
PRODUCT CONDITION
The condition and origin of our furniture may vary. Please refer to each individual product description for details.
Items described as Brand New, New Overstock or New Made to Order are sold as new products and are not ex-display or previously used.
Ex-display, returned or other non-new items may show minor signs of handling, storage or display, including small marks, scuffs or cosmetic imperfections. Any significant imperfections known to us will be highlighted in the product description or photographs.
MADE TO ORDER FURNITURE & DEPOSITS
Our made-to-order upholstery collections allow customers to choose from a selection of sizes, configurations, fabrics and colours, depending on the range.
A 20% deposit is required when placing a made-to-order furniture order, with the remaining balance payable upon delivery, unless otherwise agreed.
Please check all measurements, fabrics, colours and configurations carefully before confirming your order.
CANCELLATIONS & RETURNS
Orders Placed In Store
For furniture orders placed and agreed in our showroom, there is generally no automatic statutory right to cancel or return goods simply because you have changed your mind.
If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. Any cancellation request outside your statutory rights will be considered individually, taking account of the order's progress and any reasonable costs or losses incurred.
Orders Placed Online
For orders placed online, customers normally have a statutory 14-day cancellation period following delivery, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Furniture genuinely manufactured to a customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised may be exempt from this change-of-mind cancellation right.
Simply selecting a standard sofa, size or fabric from a manufacturer's usual range does not automatically make an item legally bespoke.
Where statutory cancellation rights apply, customers are entitled to exercise those rights in accordance with the law.
Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or do not match the agreed specification, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.
DELIVERY & AVAILABILITY
Many of our Outlet offers are limited-stock or one-off opportunities — when they're gone, they're gone!
Made-to-order furniture is manufactured following your order, so delivery times may vary. An estimated delivery timeframe will be provided when your order is confirmed.
Please ensure your chosen furniture will fit through doorways, hallways and staircases and into its intended room.
PRODUCT IMAGES & COLOURS
Product images may include manufacturer or catalogue photography, or AI-generated room settings, for illustration purposes.
Colours, fabrics and finishes may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings. Please refer to the individual product description for the exact specification being offered.
Where possible, we always recommend viewing furniture and fabric samples in person at our retail outlet — nothing beats seeing it for yourself!
